| I am a Licensed Master Social Worker with over 15 years experience working in clinical and community settings. I have a Bachelor and Master’s degree in Social Work as well as a certification in Family Life Education. The bulk of my career has been with non-profit agencies working to organize and manage various programs. My most extensive involvement has been within the rape crisis and domestic violence communities. I also have volunteered in multiple capacities within such agencies most recently holding the position of past president of the board of directors for Men Stopping Violence, an organization dedicated to ending men’s violence against women.
I am co-owner of SamJa Consulting, a company offering group counseling, workshops/trainings, and private investigation and security services. I have presented and trained on several issues related to women’s violence at many local and national conferences including the National Social Work Conference, National Sexual Assault Conference, and the GA Commission On Family Violence to name a few.
My focus is providing quality programs to empower diverse groups of people. I am committed to women’s empowerment and healing and to making the community safer for all.
