Mosaic Counseling has partnered with Learning on the Log, a non-profit

organization offering comprehensive sensory-based programs for exceptional

children, to provide outdoor therapeutic experiences for adolescents. Jen and Armann

(co-founder of LOL) have worked together for over 10 years in a variety of clinical

and outdoor settings.  Combining their individual expertise in child/adolescent

development and their love for the outdoors, Jen and Armann take adolescents back

to nature to challenge, support and nurture their emotional worlds. These group

experiences are meant to be a collaborative addition to ongoing therapy or a chance

to expose others to therapuetic concepts in a fun, safe environment. 

  Outdoor adventures include hiking, high/low ropes courses, rock climbing,

rafting and canoeing. Through these physical challenges and adventures we provide

a supportive social-emotional context for participants to deal with

issues such as trust, anxiety, self esteem and interpersonal skills.
